Towards 5G coverage

The gradual but unstoppable transition to 5G connectivity systems will enable a real revolution in the community services sector in the medium term.
The data transmission speed will be over one hundred times higher than the current one and the latency reduced to a minimum.
We will no longer talk only about IoT (Internet of things) but IoP (Internet of people), and in our case IoL (Internet of Light).
It will thus be possible to favour the development of high definition video services and augmented reality, improve our way of living the city (smart city, assisted driving), the home (smart home) as well as industrial processes (industry 4.0) and public services (telemedicine and civil protection), not to mention the positive effects on energy consumption (smart metering) and video surveillance services (security).
